Wedding party look - tutorials

Check how to style your hair and match makeup to create a perfect look for a wedding party. Try it for yourself!

Blonde waves

Hair

1. Blow dry the sections of hair rolling them upwards from the roots with a small barrel brush.

2. Take a hair curler and curl up hair all around your head diving them into sections.

3. Part your hair on the side of your head (pick the side you feel more convenient with) and pin up the lower hair sections at the back, leaving waves at the top of your head. In that way your hair style will look lighter, beautifully exposing your face.

Makeup

1. Apply concealer and darker foundation on face areas as shown in the picture. Then blend them together with a foundation brush (e.g. Calming Effects liquid concealer).

2. Contour your face with bronzer. Also apply it across your neck and neckline. Avoid covering previously highlighted areas. With your hair pinned up, the contours will be more visible (use AVON Glow Bronzing pearls Pink Bronze).

3. Smile and apply blush onto the apples of your cheeks. To achieve a naturally beautiful look, apply a nude lipstick and mascara at the end (in the picture: Luxe Couture Creme lipstick Nude Slip). You can also add eye shadow in nude color on your eyelids to finish the look.

Ginger twists

Hair

1. Apply styling foam onto your moistened, combed through hair to make hair more manageable (e.g. Advance Techniques Styling mousse).

2. Separate a strand of hair and roll it up with your hands.

3. Pin the rolled strand of hair up on top of your head, forming a knot.

4. Repeat the same moves with strands of hair all around your head.

5. Keep the strands pinned for approx. 30 minutes and use this time to do makeup.

6. Unroll all strands and mess them up with your fingers. Pin the strands that fall onto your face to the side.

Makeup

Lips 1. Cover your lips delicately with powder to ensure better lipstick stick. Then blot off the excess with a tissue, to leave the lips matt.

2. Line your lips with lip liner matching the color of your lipstick (in the picture: AVON Glimmersticks lip liner True Red).

3. Cover lips with a lipstick filling in the lip liner contour (e.g. Ultra Colour lipstick Red Extreme).

Eyes

1. Put an eye shadow primer onto your eyelids.

2. Apply nude color eye shadow to brighten the look (e.g. from palette AVON Color Eye Shadow quad Precious Shells or Mocha Latte).

3. Define your eyes with an eye liner, drawing a line along upper eye lashes and finish with mascara (try Super Extend liquid eye liner Black).

Classic knots

Hair

1. Comb your hair through so that it is straight and smooth. A paddle brush will help you with it.

2. Take two strands of hair reaching from the temples, from both sides of head. Bind them together at the back, on top of your head.

3. Take next strands of hair and do the same, knot them together beneath the first knot.

4. Continue so, moving down the back of your head.

5. Once you cross the hair line, continue with the same pattern.

6. Hide the part of your hair that goes over neck under your hairdo and pin it.

Makeup 1. Put an eye shadow primer onto your eyelids that will ensure a better shadow stick.

2. Take a kohl eyeliner and draw along upper and lower eye lashes.

3. Smudge the eyeliner delicately with a little sponge at the other tip.

4. Apply a dark grey shadow on the whole eyelid and also under lower lash line. You may use a moistened eye shadow brush for a more precise application (in the picture Eye shadow quad Purple Haze).

5. Apply a violet shade to the middle of the eyelid continuing to the outer eye corner.

6. Blend all shades with an eye shadow brush creating a cat-eye finish and brush your lashes with mascara.
